Plantagenet Dynasty

The Plantagenets were descendents of Geoffrey Plantagenet, Count of Anjou. The Plantagenet kings are usually counted until Richard II. The term "Angevin" (from "Anjou") is applied to the Plantagenets and also the House of Lancaster and House of York.
