Falmouth is a popular seaside resort in
Cornwall, 12 miles south of
Truro. It is built on the west side of the largest estuary on the south coast of England, through which flow the Fal, Truro, Penryn, and Porthand rivers.
Falmouth has two historic 16th century castles, Pendennis and St. Mawes.
