This delightful 18th-century country house is the home of famous naturalist Reverend Gilbert White, author of 'The Natural History of Selborne.' An attractive garden has been re-created true to 18th-century form. Also on the site is a museum devoted to 'Titus' Oates of Antarctic fame and Victorian-era explorer, Frank Oates; gift shop; plant sales; tea parlour offers 18th-century-style light lunches.
