This historic house was originally built in the 14th century and added to later; the property features a beautiful courtyard, walled gardens, ornamental vegetable garden, and one surviving tower which dates from 1347. The house has an interesting past and was involved in Jacobean court intrigue. Inside rooms are highlighted by exceptional 18th-century plasterwork. Open beginning April to end of September.
