Hedingham Castle

Built in 1140, Hedingham Castle is still owned by the descendants of the Earls of Oxford. The historic castle encompasses four floors which include an outstanding Banqueting Hall with Minstrels Gallery. The grounds take in woodland and lakeside walks, and may be used for picnicking. Special events hosted throughout the season, open April-October. Conference facilities, gift shop, cream teas by arrangement.
