Leighton Hall is a stately historic home in the North of England built in 1246. The home of the world-renowned Gillow furniture making family, Leighton Hall is set on 80 acres of beautiful grounds and parkland. Leighton Hall can be found in the north of Lancashire, just outside Carnforth, a few miles from the Georgian city of Lancaster against a backdrop of English Lake District hills. A tour of the Hall shows the past and present of the family, their heritage and beautiful possessions. Leighton Hall is very much a lived-in home; this historic home of one of England's most famous families is open to the public from May to September. Pre-booked groups of 25 people or more are welcome all year.
