Lichfield England |
Lichfield is a town in Staffordshire with ancient origins. The Romans built a fort two miles south of town. Dr Samuel Johnson was born in Lichfield, and in 1776 took his friend Boswell there to show him "genuine civilised life in an English provincial town."
