Medlars is a comfortable country house, located in a quiet rural setting on the beautiful Isle of Wight. The building was originally an old stone barn and is approximately three quarters of a mile (a 20 minute walk) from Yarmouth town and harbour. The pretty, well appointed bedrooms are located on the first floor of the house and guests also have use of the sitting room, dining room, terrace and garden. The double bedded room has private use of a bathroom, with shower and toilet. The other room can be twin or double bedded and has an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is available. Off-road parking available. Activities and amenities close to Medlars include horse riding, safe sandy beaches, sailing (tuition available) and golfing on attractive courses. No smoking in bedrooms; closed Christmas and New Year.
