Marwell is home to over 200 species of rare animals that include Siberian tigers, snow leopards, rhino, meerkat, hippo and zebras. Exibitions include the World of Lemurs, Encounter Village, Tropical World, Nightlife (nocturnal species), Rodent Room, Penguin World, and Owl avaries. The park is accessible by road and rail trains; also special events, creature close-ups, restaurant, gift shops and playgrounds. Open all year; closed Christmas Day.
