One of the great gardens of the Sussex Weald, it features a historic collection of plants with many rare and exotic species collected from overseas, shrubs and trees, as well as a wild garden and woodland walks through the surrounding estate. The Messel family's creativity is displayed in Lady Rosse's library, drawing room and forecourt garden. Also on-site gift shop, self-service restaurant. Groups welcome, must be pre-booked.
