These unique animal parks are home to the largest family group of gorillas in human care in the world, as well as Europe's largest breeding herd of African elephants. A long and impressive list of rare and exotic species are included on the grounds, which, unlike conventional zoos and safari parks, allow these animals to roam freely in as near-natural conditions as possible. Visitors can access the Safari Shuttle to view the extensive 400-acre grounds; on-site gift shop and various food concessions. Also on the grounds are a historic mansion with 15-acre formal garden.
