Preston Tower

The tower, built by Sir Robert Harbottle in 1392, is one of the country's few surviving pele towers. The tunnel-vaulted rooms remain unaltered, and two of the rooms are furnished in contemporary style. Open all year, daily, during daylight hours. Tel: +44 (0) 1665 589227
