Rockingham Castle

Built by William the Conqueror, Rockingham served as a Royal fortress for 450 years and home of the Saunders Watson family for the past 450 years. The historic site features views of five surrounding counties and encompasses 12 acres of gardens. Several periods are represented by the castle's lavishly furnished rooms. Castle history is relayed through exhibits. Rockingham is open on selected days only, April 1-September 30; pre-booked groups are welcome at any time. Conference facilities available.
