Brevard Zoo, located 1/2 mile east of I-95 at exit 73, is home to more than 480 animals. The addition of a 10 acre habitat, Expedition Africa, in 2003 will add 60 more. The zoo features a wheelchair accessible train ride, an interactive playground and petting zoo, a free flight aviary where you can hand feed the birds and the only guided kayaking tours at a zoo in the country.
