Clermont is located in
Lake County west of
Orlando between Orlando and
Brooksville along Highway 50 near Lake Apopka. This community is also located 25 miles Northwest of Walt Disney World. Clermont is part of the
Orlando, Florida metro area.
Clermont is one of the few Florida counties that has rolling hills. Much of central Florida is of rather flat terrain. Clermont is also known for its many fresh water lakes and canals.
The City of Clermont has the beautifully renovated Jaycee Beach area to accommodate the Clermont Triathlon and the new Rails to Trails bike trail which extends from Clermont to Ocoee.
