Located at the Cultural Arts Center at the edge of the Stetson University campus, the 6,000-sq-ft museum offers two state-of-the-art galley spaces where changing exhibitions of painting, photography, sculpture and fine crafts are displayed. The museum's reorganization in 1985 facilitated its growth from a children's museum to a venue for broad programming for all ages, as well as lectures and workshops. The museum's week-long Summer Art Camp program for children, in its 20th year, is still popular. The non-profit DeLand Museum of Art is also one of the major sponsors of the DeLand Fall Festival of the Arts.
Most of the Museum's changing exhibitions are free to the public; call for current schedule. Open daily, except Monday; guided tours available, call for reservations.
