Established in 1952, the Longboat Key Center for the Arts provides instructional classes and workshops in the visual arts, regularly changing art exhibits in three separate galleries. They offer special events focused on all the performing arts for the greater Longboat Key-Sarasota-Manatee counties area of southwest Florida. The Gallery is available for rent by individuals or groups of artists. There are many art programs offered for children.
