Ellenton

Ellenton is located in Manatee County just south of St Petersburg between Bradenton Beach and Sun City Center along Highway 301 on the banks of the Manatee River near Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Ellenton is part of the Sarasota-Bradenton, Florida metro area.

A popular attraction in the area is the Gamble Plantation State Historic Site. This is the site of a mid-1800's sugar plantation covering over 3,500 acres.
