The 300-acre Fantasy of Flight Museum, located in the heart of Central Florida, is home to the Worlds Greatest Aircraft Collection,- the largest private collection of vintage aircraft anywhere. Visitors will see rare aircraft take to the skies during daily presentations; Back-Lot tours show the restoration process. Other Museum highlights include fighter-plane simulations that engage virtual-pilots in battle missions, multi-media 'immersion' experiences, and hangar tours that feature rare aviation artifacts.
The Museum also provides the ultimate flight-fantasy come true, in which visitors can actually captain a Flightstar Ultralight plane under the direction of an FAA certified pilot on varying-length flights Tuesday-Sunday (weather permitting); certain physical restrictions may apply to ensure safety.
Groups welcome, special rates available; on-site facilities including restaurant and Officer's Club can be rented for events by arrangement.
