First Baptist Church has been an active ministry in Cedar Key since 1891. Over the years, God has molded this church and we are looking forward to what He has in store for our future. We are a congregation that is passionately seeking to be used of God in our families, in our community, and wherever He will lead us.     Florida Old Time Music Championship Dade City FL April5-6 FOTMC celebrates Old Time Music in Florida, encompassing musical styles ranging from child ballads to southern dance music of old time string bands. Contests in many old time acoustic instruments, String Band and Old Time Singing contests.
    Catfish Festival Crescent City FL April5-6 Since April 1978, the Rotary Club of Crescent City has held its annual 'Catfish Festival the first Saturday of April at Crescent City's Eva Lyon's Park. This massive volunteer effort has one significant purpose: raising money for college/vocational school scholarships for the high school children in our community. After costs are paid, every dollar generated is used for scholarships.
