Shaded picnic areas are available which include tables, grills, and outside shower and bathhouse facilities. Guided tours of the 3-story fort, which includes the largest collection of Civil War cannons in the US as well as a number of guns and ammunition excavated in the fort's gun rooms, are offered daily.
