Graceville

Graceville is located in Jackson County north of Panama City off of US Hwy 231 at the Alabama boarder, also situated west of Malone.

In the 1860's Cpt. H.B. Grace came to Jackson County to survey land given to him by Florida for the railroads. The name of the present area was changed to Graceville in honor of the Grace family. Graceville was founded in 1862 and incorporated in 1902.

Today, Downtown Graceville is a strip where shopping can be inexpensive or extravagant. From old fashioned milk shakes to elegant dining in Downtown Graceville can give you a fun all day experience. Our historical sidewalks used to give the ladies of the horse-drawn carriage a safe place to step when they shopped. Brown Street plays host to all of the parades throughout the year.
