The center houses examples of native plants and animals in a variety of habitats, including coastal dune, sabal palm hammock and mangrove wetlands. Also featured are outdoor seawater tanks, a boardwalk with a viewing tower and a nature trail. Open Monday-Saturday, 9am-4pm; Sunday, noon-4pm. Closed holidays. Free to the public. Located 1 mile north of Palmetto Park Rd.
