Cannon beach is the closest to the park entrance and is the closest to the concession and the visitor's center. This beach is better for adults because it's rockier and has a deep drop-off of 30 feet where people love to dive. It also has a replica of a ship wreck in the water which makes for great snorkeling. Far beach is a great family beach, very shallow with shade trees and picnic tables. Also this beach has two great nature trails (about 1/4 of a mile) off the parking lot right next to the beach.
