Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is located in Broward County just north of Fort Lauderdale between Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale along Hwy A1A near the Atlantic seacoast. Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is part of the Fort Lauderdale, Florida metro area.Pelican Square, at the intersection of El Mar Drive and Commercial Boulevard, is at the hub of this peaceful community.
