Marco Island is located in
Collier County south of
Fort Myers, situated along Highway 951 near
Naples and the
Gulf of Mexico. Also found at the northern tip of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands.
Marco Island became the 400th City in the state of Florida when it was incorporated on August 29, 1997. This community features 6 miles of beach and over 100 miles of waterways within its 14 square miles.
