Founded by nurse Garnett Radin in 1932, Indian River Memorial Hospital is the only community, not-for-profit hospital in Indian River County. Celebrating 70 years of caring, today the 335-bed hospital and its related facilities span over 80 acres. Its staff provides a wide range of quality medical care and healthcare services for residents of Florida's growing Treasure and Space Coasts.
Specialty services include: 24-Hour Emergency Services, Stroke Center (Designated as one of the nation's top 100 hospitals for stroke patients), Heart and Vascular Services, Cancer Center, Orthopedics/Joint Implant Services, Center for Behavioral Health, Women's Health and Maternity Care. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals (JCAHO).
