The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) has helped catapult Miami's art scene into national and international focus with its innovative exhibitions of emerging and established artists from around the world. Known for its fresh approach in examining the art of our time, the museum's exhibitions of such artists as Frank Stella, Roy Lichtenstein, Helen Frankenthaler, and Salvador Dali, have earned it international acclaim. Education and cultural programming includes Art Talks, events and art classes for children, teens and families, music and dance performances, and the popular Jazz at MOCA series, of free outdoor jazz concerts on the last Friday of every month.
Docent-led tours of exhibitions are offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm. Open Tuesday - Saturday, 11 am to 5 pm; Sunday from noon -5 pm. Closed on major holidays.
