Now a National Historic Site and Florida Cultural Institution, this 4-acre facility houses the early 20th-century Cornell Museum, Crest Theatre and Vintage Gymnasium, where world-class exhibits, performances and education programs are presented throughout the year. The newest addition to the site is a new outdoor bandshell, fully equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, scheduled for 2001.
The Crest Theatre presents music, theater and dance productions, while the museum features changing art exhibits and a military miniature collection. All three buildings, as well as the grounds, are available for rental and are used year-round, for events, meetings, and reception space. Children under 12 admitted free. Open Tuesday-Sunday; closed holidays.
