North Shore Open Space Park/Beach

Search Miami Florida

This is a pretty busy park and beach. The beach has plenty of room and the sand is very fine with a shallow surf, and a lifeguard is on duty from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In the park there are tables and grills for picnics and plenty of outdoor showers in the park and on the beach. Pets are allowed only in the park area and on a leash.

The concession stand opens at 11 a.m. and serves hot and cold food, beer, cigarettes, popsicles and ice cream, and if that isn't sufficient, there are restaurants within walking distance.
