The Orlando Museum of Art is dedicated to collecting, preserving and interpreting notable works of art. In addition to displaying its permanent major collections of Art of the Ancient Americas and African art, the museum offers exhibitions of local, regional, national and international significance. A recently completely expansion program added 30,786 square feet to the facility as well as doubling its educational programs, and includes 22,464 square feet of new gallery space as well as a sky-lit gallery hall, study centers and four windowed overlooks offering panoramic views of three nearby lakes and Orlando's Loch Haven Park, where the museum is located. Closed Mondays and holidays.
