Safety Harbor is located in
Pinellas County along the northwestern edge of Tampa Bay, situated off of US Hwy 19 south of
Tarpon Springs.
Safety Harbor is part of the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, Florida metro area.
Safety Harbor is now a relatively small, laidback town, mostly taken over as suburban sprawl, yet still yielding an old-town atmosphere with a little Tampa Bay marina and fishing pier.
