Constructed by one of
Fort Lauderdale's founding families, this 1901 Florida vernacular-style building has served as a trading post, post office, bank, and town hall in addition to its original use as a private home. Restored to its 1913 configuration, the house is high on South Florida's 'must-do' list of attractions. Group tours for 12 or more available any day of the week by pre-arrangement; events and seasonal concerts are held throughout the year. Open Wednesday-Sunday afternoons; closed major holidays.
