T.T. Wentworth Jr., Florida State Museum

This elaborate Renaissance Revival-style building, circa 1907, was originally built as Pensacola's City Hall. Its yellow brick symmetrical design is accented with wide overhanging eaves, a red tile roof, an arched entry porch, and a second-story arcade. The building has been recently renovated and dedicated as a Florida State Museum which features galleries housing the permanent collection of T.T. Wentworth; exhibits portray West Florida history, architecture, and archaeology. The third floor is home to the hands-on 'Discovery' museum, sponsored by the Junior League of Pensacola.

The museum is located on Plaza Ferdinand in downtown Pensacola. Open daily, Easter-Labor Day; a small admission price includes Pensacola Historic Village and museums.
