Zephyrhills, also known as "the friendly city of pure water," is just a short drive from the city of Tampa and from the Gulf of Mexico. Zephyrhills was founded over 100 years ago, but until March of 1910, it was known as Abbott Station.
The city of Zephyrhills has plenty to be recognized forcattle ranches, poultry farms and citrus groves are just a few of the town's trademarks. The most well recognized, though, is the world-famous pure spring water from seven of the deepest wells in Florida that is bottled and sold all over the world.
