Aix-les-Bains France

Located 34 km SW of Annecy and 16 km north of Chambery at the edge of Lac du Bourget, Frances largest lake, the spa town of Aix-les-Bains is famous for its 19th-century Thermes Nationaux. One of the most popular spas in France, these thermal baths, rumored to be useful in the treatment of rheumatism, feature the ruins of the original baths first enjoyed by the Romans centuries ago.
