Alencon France

Alencon, located at the juncture of the Sarthe and Briante rivers, is known for the traditional lace produced there since the 17th century. Known as "the queen of lace", examples are on display at the Musee de Beaux Arts et de la Dentelle, housed in the former Jesuit school.
