Located on the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels), opposite Nice and 11 km NE of Cannes, the port town of Antibes boasts one of the best markets on the coast (located on cours Massena). Also of interest is the Musee Picasso, housed in the 12th-century Chateau Grimaldi. Picasso used a portion of the castle in 1946 as a studio and, in appreciation, he donated the 150 works created there, which are now on display in the museum.
