Aubusson France

Located 89 km E of Limoges and 95 km NW of Clermont-Ferrand, on the Creuse River near the northern edge of the Plateau de Millevaches (the highest portion of the Monts du Limousin), the market town of Aubusson is famous around the world for its tapestries and rugs. Many workshops around town are open to the public, and visitors are welcome at the Manufacture St. Jean (3 rue St. Jean), where textiles are made by hand.
