Enhanced by valuable donations from artists and lovers of art, the collections assembled by Benoit de Puydt are testimony to the interest shown by this man in Flanders art of the last century and the culture of the 15th-19th centuries. In addition to the fine paintings, sculptures, furniture, domestic items, ceramics and lace, the tapestry of the States of Flanders (Guillaume Werniers, circa 1720-1730) is worthy of attention.
