Bourges

Just a short distance from the geographical center of France, Bourges is the third largest city in the Central Loire Region. It is located on a hill along the River Yevre, 220 km south of Paris and 284 km NW of Lyon. This Gallo-Roman city is surrounded by its original walls and is best known as the city of Jacques Coeur, financier and foreign minister to Charles VII.
