Bretagne

The westernmost region of France, Brittany is surrounded by 750 miles of coastline and offers many water-based activities to the traveler, including sailing, surfing, canoeing, rowing and sand yachting. The region is also known for its legendary seafood. Mont Saint-Michel is Brittany's best-known site, its medieval city and abbey listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Other points of interest include the Gulf of Morbihan, dotted with dozens of islands, and a number of megaliths, chateaux, museums and medieval towns.
