Calvi

Located 20 km west along the coast from LIle Rousse, Calvi is dominated by its 15th-century citadel. Today it is an important base for the French Foreign Legion, while still affording reasonably priced accommodations for travelers. The town also boasts an annual jazz festival, which takes place the third week of June.
