Musee National des Arts Asiatiques Guime

Originally set up in Lyon by industrialist Emile Guimet, this impressive collection of Asian art was transferred to Paris in 1884. Dedicated to the history, religion and art of Eastern civilizations, the museums collections present a broad array of arts from India, South East Asia, China, the Middle East, Nepal and Tibet. Japanese and Korean art is also represented.
