Concarneau France

The fishing port of Concarneau is located 335 miles W of Paris and 58 miles SE of Brest. The main attraction for visitors is the town s heavily fortified Ville Close, the old city, which is surrounded by ramparts dating back to the 14th century. Located on an island a few meters offshore, the Ville Close is home to the Musee de la Peche, located on rue Vauban, whose exhibits trace the history of the fishing industry.
