City tour of Lille

The Lille Tourist Office offers visitors a one-hour tour of the city, taking in the Old Stock Exchange, the Opera, the Comtesse Hospice, the Charles de Gaulle Museum, the Petit Quinquin, the Paris Gate, the Citadel, the railway station quarter and more. Leaving from the Palais Rihour, a minibus with audio-visual facilities takes travelers on a discovery tour of Lille exploring the Middle Ages to today. Easy access is available for the disabled. Every Wednesday in July and August, the Tourist Office offers a guided stroll through Lille by night, departing from the foot of the Deesse monument in the Grand Place. From the Grand Place, head for the Comtesse Island on a leisurely walk to discover the architectural treasures and monuments of Lille. The tour finishes in a local bar over a glass of beer.
