La Maison de Louis XIV

Located on place Louis XIV, La Maison de Louis XIV was built in 1643 for ship owner Johannis of Lohobiague. It is named in honor of the king, who stayed there in 1660 in preparation for his marriage to Infanta Maria Teresa.
