Langres France

Located 35 km south of Chaumont on a rocky promontory above the Marne River, the fortified city of Langres is enclosed by medieval ramparts, which afford panoramic views of the Marne Valley, the Langres plateau and the Vosges. Also of interest to visitors is the Cathedrale St-Mammes, built in the Burgundian Romanesque style.
