Parc Naturel Regional de Luberon

Regional Nature Park of Luberon

A large portion of the Luberon, the massive limestone range that runs for 50 km between Cavaillon and Manosque in the Provence region, has been designated as the Parc Naturel Regional de Luberon in an effort to preserve the natural flora and fauna of the area. Containing more than 1,000 plant species plus forests of cedar and oak, the park offers visitors a variety of footpaths and cycling routes in addition to the Musee de la Paleontologie, designed especially for children.
