Housed in the Donon Hotel, and elegant building located in the heart of the Marais district, the museum displays the collection of 18th-century art acquired by Louise Jay and Ernest Congnacq, the founders of La Samaritaine (Paris largest department store). Drawings by Watteau, paintings by Boucher, Fragonard and Canaletto and pastels by La Tour are featured, in addition to displays of porcelain and period furniture.
